those coats are fabulous! i, too, have been wanting a hooded wool coat--hoods are crucial in the freezing cold.

I have the first coat, the one from UO and it is -absolutely- hands down the best coat I've ever purchased. Living in Seattle, the thickness of the wool is perfect, because not only does it do the trick on the warmer days, but for super cold days like we're having right now, layering it with a hoodie and scarf is both effective and super cute.
I love that you posted these for your friend! So cute and thoughtful. (I like the grey/white plaid one the best :)
