Passion Pit

At Berbati's tonight.

Back from my road trip. Boo.

I got back on Sunday from a super duper road trip with the bf.

Still can't get back into the groove of normal life.
Complicated by the fact that I am out of coffee right now...

To sum up the trip:

Day 1: Scarey imaginary bears + closed campgrounds.
Day 2: Wrong turns + darts + sissy face.
Day 3: Fish bellies + albino alligators + jelly fish
Day 4: Sizzling cast iron bowls + raw eggs in LA.
Day 5: Heuvos + beachy time.
Day 6: San diego sunsets + dinner with fam.
Day 7: Shooting stars + late night mimosas.
Day 8: Oatmeal + elephant seals + BIG SURfers.
Day 9: Golden gate bridge +turkey dinner + The Karen & Ellen letters.
Day 10: Home sweet home + kitty faces + cuddles

Duffle Duffle

Yes please! It is getting cold again.

Yupster.

Dear Carissa,

I think this is it.

And it is even from the "tough" university.

Although, I like yipster better.

Love,

Jessica

Empty dark campground.
Boney fingers. Clenched too tight.
Kiss. Crunch. Swish. Bear? Rain!

Web Colors

I have been staring at the expanded CSS3 web colors for too long. I now see things in hexadecimal.

I think the geothermal pools in Reykjavik could best be equated to AFEEEE.

I think i'm going blind.

My Song For Today.

I feel sleepy and sloth like today. Yep, like that.

(iConcert cal tells me Passion Pit will be in Portland on the the 29th!)

Reykjavik

The dollar is strong against the Icaland Kronor right now. Weird but Iceland is experiencing some economic issues too.

I have been dreaming about traveling there but the $1500 plane ticket coupled with the $7 cups of coffee and $10 beers once you get there has been really intimidating. They are also not super excited about outsiders.

I found tickets for $800 and coffees will now be only $3.50 and beers about $5.

Mmmm. Geothermal pools.

Let's Go!

Cutest Wedding Invite Ever!

I'm not the girl that has dreamt of her wedding since she was a child. In fact, to me, there is nothing more romantic than eloping.

No worrying about seating arrangements and being so nervous you trip and fall on your face, or cry. No extravagant budgets, frilly dresses or flower girls etc.

Just you and the one you love. Nothing complicated.

That said, these wedding invites from Michael Fusco Design and are the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Who can I make them for?

Website of the week.

It happens all the time.

There needs to be a special "your boyfriend wakes you up" feature.

You fell asleep watching a dvd.

luv. luv.

Christopher Doyle: Identity Guidelines

My favorite part is the "incorrect use" section.

Ch-ch-check

Whadya say Donna Hay?

The new website for Donna Hay launched today.

Ooh la la!

It has recipes on it and i'm in my glory.

(Just be diligent with your metric conversions and mind your southern hemisphere seasons...everything will work out fine.)

Who wants dinner tonight?
