Last fall and winter were particularly hard on me.
I'm not sure why.
After nearly 18 years of living in Portland I would consider myself a seasoned, rainy-season vet.
I think it had something to do with the dark mornings and an equally dark-mooded roommate.
Either way, I have been preparing myself for the rain to start basically since it stopped.
I will be well armed with sweaters, SAD lightbulbs, cooking adventures and TONS of creative projects.
Closed's Fall & Winter 09/10 collection made me perk up about what's ahead.
Like busting out my black, trench coat and woven, wool scarf.
Yes please!
