Have you listened to Wiretap? You should.
I love Jonathan Goldstein.
I love David Rackoff.
I love the weird little phone conversations they create and act out.
Last night I was in a funk and I proceeded to listen to all the clips on CBC while working on a site.
Start with The Gentleman's Guide to Grooming and go from there. The conversation with the ex cracks me up everytime.

Hildur Bjarnadottir's work is on display at Pulliam Deffenbaugh this month.
Her crochet work is inspiring. I can't even begin to fathom having the patience to sit a create each piece.
Like the detail of the skulls and matches on her late 90s work.
Bonus points...She is Icelandic.

There is this funny thing that happens every September in Portland.
It isn't fall. It isn't summer. It is somewhere in between.
It is the space where you want to wear all your new fall clothes and are ready for the corduroy, tweed and wool knits but it is sunny outside with temperatures in the upper 70s.
This is the perfect in between outfit.
Knit & navy.
Sleeveless & chic.

I am moving in about 3 weeks. It is a little sad.
I love my apartment.
And living alone.
But there are these brief moments where I think about the little things that I have in the house that will make life so much better.
Like the hood vent above the stove.
I don't have one in my apartment.
It will be nice to have a hood vent again.
Wish it was like this innovative nod to Terry Gilliam's heat vents in "Brazil."
Mine will be nice too.
