Briefly forget everything tawdry heard about these two in the tabloids and indulge for a moment in the sweetness of their touch.
A soft kiss on the forehead.
A gentle hand at the nape of the neck.
Messy hair and imperfections mixed with seemingly genuine affection.
They are by far my favorite celebrity relationship in picture form.

Any of these
Manimal Moccs for the fall and winter.
With my skinny cords and sweaters. We would be some sort of textural mishmash of awesomeness.

My dear friend Emily has started using her
amazing embroidery and watercolor technique to document her food adventures.
How great would it be to have a series of these hanging in your kitchen?

UPDATE: Emily decided to sell them as she goes. View and purchase one at her
shop.

I bought these
wedge desert boots in impulse this weekend. I have worn them these two ways since getting them and am in love.
Fancy for PICA's Closing Night Dinner:
Casual for meetings and errands:

Yep. Today marks the official beginning of my favorite 10 days of the year.
PICA's TBA festival runs the 9th-19th. 10 glorious days of contemporary performance art including dance, non-traditional theater, workshops, late-nights, good food, lots of friends....heart.
The next ten days go like this: wake up, work at PICA, performance, food, performance, late night at the WORKS, sleep five hours, repeat.
I can hardly contain myself.
Looking forward to:
Well everything...
Images of the works courtesy of the lovely

I have been wearing a lot of black and grey lately and my red lipstick hasn't been cutting it. I'm thinking something a little more sultry for fall and winter 2010.
On the look out for nudes and vampy purplish hues. Of course I am starting at the YSL counter. I have converted 5 ladies to this lipstick. It is like clouds on your lips.
YSL
Rouge Volupté Perle in Mesmerizing Purple. It is softer and more glossy on your lips than it appears.

Thinking christmas presents.

They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.

Let's all wear faded jeans and white keds in celebration!

One of my favorite fall and winter activities is to hit the beach house.
Almost as if on queue the stormy skies will clear up around 11pm perfect for a late night hot tub, whiskey and star gazing.
I found these great
winter star charts the other day that show the sky with and without the drawn constellations.
They are making me excited for cozy beach time.

Ginsberg, Corso, Rosset, Kerouac, Burroughs, Donlin, Cassady...
I went through a beat phase when I was 15. After hearing about the making of Ginsberg's
Howl I have been thrown into a fit of nostalgia.
They don't make men like these anymore.
Although, they do sort of resemble the now-crowd at Valentine's any given night.
Aww.
Buddies.
