Congratulations on turning 30! I thought it would be a lot more traumatic than it was, but it turned out to be really special. You finally have permission to be a real adult, which sounds bad but is actually very nice and liberating. Can't wait to hear how you're celebrating!
as a 30 year old living on a small tropical island...i can sure use the refuge of a large metropolitan right about now...as those criss-crossing color lines are exactly what is going on inside me.
